Why would God create people who reject Him?

If God is all-knowing, why make people who will turn away from Him? The answer lies in free will.

God did not want robots who would be forced to love Him. Real love requires choice. By creating people with free will, God gave them the ability to accept or reject Him. Sadly, some choose rejection.

But even rejection serves a purpose. It allows God’s love and justice to be shown. Those who accept Him experience His grace, while those who reject Him face the results of their choice.

God also uses human freedom to accomplish His purposes. Even when people turn away, God can bring good out of it. For example, Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery, but God used it to save many lives (Genesis 50:20).

Finally, God continues to invite all people to Himself. Though some reject Him, His desire is for everyone to repent and be saved (2 Peter 3:9).

So, God created people with freedom, knowing some would reject Him, because love and relationship are only real when chosen.
