Some people think Christianity and science are enemies. In truth, they are not in conflict. Science studies the natural world—how it works through laws, patterns, and discoveries. Christianity explains the deeper questions—why the world exists, what purpose it has, and who created it.
In fact, modern science grew out of a Christian worldview. Early scientists like Newton, Kepler, and Galileo believed the universe was orderly because God made it. They studied nature expecting to find design and laws, and they did.
Sometimes there is tension when science makes claims that go beyond its scope, such as saying God does not exist. But science itself cannot prove or disprove God; it can only describe the natural world. Questions of meaning, morality, and purpose belong to philosophy and faith.
Christians believe God is the author of both Scripture and nature. If both are from Him, they will not truly contradict. When conflicts seem to appear, it usually means we have misunderstood either the science or the Scripture.
So, Christianity and science are not enemies. They answer different questions and together give a fuller picture of truth.
