Does absolute truth exist?

Many people today say, “What is true for you may not be true for me.” But if truth is only personal, then nothing can be trusted. Absolute truth means something is true for everyone, everywhere, at all times.

In daily life, we rely on absolute truth. For example, two plus two equals four, no matter who you are. Gravity pulls objects down, whether you believe it or not. In the same way, moral and spiritual truths are not just opinions—they are real.

If there were no absolute truth, then even the statement “there is no absolute truth” could not be trusted. Denying truth is self-contradictory.

Christianity teaches that God is the source of absolute truth. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6). Truth is not just an idea but a person—Jesus Christ.

Believing in absolute truth matters because it gives a foundation for life. Without it, right and wrong would only be opinions. With it, we can live with confidence, knowing God’s truth never changes.
